Boy, the weather is really putting a damper on the mushroom hunting and post on fishing in Michigan is'nt it.

Hey Skull: have you got many shrooms yet, the crappies are still just trickilin in although i got 6 big ones last night, 50-50 males and females. Still no yery concentrated yet.

Dach,have been getting a few shrooms but nothing to write home about YET.Got a couple dozen yesturday,it seems like I'm going to miss my goal of 4,000 this year but who knows what will happen when the weather warms up.Glad to hear the crappies are coming in,let me know what happens........Gary

one word...... BURRRRRRRRRRRR. I can't believe low 30's in may!?! I realize we live in Michigan and all and the weather is strange but we can't get a break here. It's throwing our spawing seasons off darnit

Lawnguy,we usually use the lilacs blooming and mothers day to judge the prime time for crappies down state but this year it looks like things are going to be running a few weeks late.Stinking Michigan weather....it's either winter or summer.....it seems like we are a two season state..........

Here it is May25th and it's a balmy 45 degrees and raining again
.Stinking weather has messed up my shroom hunting and fishing so far.I only got around 600 morels and thats dang poor for me.Rain,rain,rain-we probably won't get any when we really need it
Dach, I know better than to ask but hows the fishing over that way?

WET!!!!!!!!
Really havent been out since last thurs, just to darn wet and nasty, will try to get out and let you know more then. Hear ?stories? of limits of walleyes if you can get out.
