took a wk off and fished out of kesas cove resort on upper end of randal lake...did very well on crappie...had to work for them some days...easy pickins other days...the last three days they bit better in mid-day than any other time...got lots of nice crappie...used 1/32 jig with 2"powerbait minnow...similar to the finS ....white....couldnt keep the crappie off this combo.....slow trolled with elec motor...used a tip-up bobber , i think they are called....orange/chartreus plastic...they lay on their sides and when a fish hits they tip up....fished 4-5 ft down from bobber....hit mostly weedlines in 6-10 ft areas....best spots were the open area just east of kesas cove....and the south side of the peninsula just east of kesas cove...the resort has an open cabin this wk if anyone is interested....jr can tell you exactly where i got the fish....this was some of the best crappie fishin i've ever done...steve heckler
