That would be nice to have the water remain  up , I remember last year you pulled your boat out do to the low water , and by ice season it was ridiculously low

ill be honest i like the lower water level, can reach my night casting spot small hump off shore but have to wade threw deeper water to get there and the low water ice fishing was no biggie actually found the deeper holes  held more fish

Just goes to show the difference in styles , I don’t wade with the exception of getting away from the brush that interferes with casting , and far as the ice I chase perch in all different depths ,and several bodies of water ,
I also like to fish a few times for Lakers and LL salmon as fun fish

I’ll take perch through the ice. Those nasty eyes are certain to show up to invite themselves home for dinner!!!😁

Took a run down to the lake  , nice breeze out of the SE ,lake has come up a bit more , far as the fishing the eyes  were willing to play , kept 3 nice eaters and tossed back some very nice healthy fish
These were in 1 ,other 2 empty
Perch and a few bull head

Took the boat out this morning, lot of debris. The lake seems to be on the rise still, it could stop raining any day now!
