got out Friday and landed 8 albies in the morning then went out around noon and got my limit of tog. love this time of the year.




Real nice!  I have only had one crack at them this season.  Send them my way!

I heard there has been some around Niantic. it's odd because buzzards bay through Rhode Island has been a desert for albies. Southside is producing for me.

really looking at picking up a long rod for albies for next season. I could of crushed them the last 3 trips on the fly. looking like I'm leaning towards a 10wt but have no idea where to start. not looking to take out a mortgage either lol.

Yes Niantic was where I saw them.  My TFO rods and reels were under 800 per each.

I snagged a bunch of fly rods at an estate sale last year.  Guy I gave a 12wt to landed a 40lb striper on one so they can handle good sized fish.  It'd most likely be a 10wt but if I have it I'll part with it for like $50.  PM me if you are interested and I'll see if I have one.
