Thanks for all the encouraging comments. Will be 3weeks since surgery on Monday. Saw surgeon this past week and he said I was doing well. Doesn't need to see me again. Seeing cardiologist Monday and will probably start rehab. Walking inside house 5-10 times a day, 5 minutes each time. Slow process! Dr said for each day one lays in hospital, it takes 4 days to recouperate . So I was there 14 days, times 4 , equals 56 days. Really knocked me for a loop! Plan on just keeping on! God hates a quitter, as the story goes!

Good luck Teach on your recovery.  It just takes awhile.  Believe me I know first hand from the last four years of different kinds of surgery.   Friends are a great help.  Now its my turn to help out a couple of buddies.  Take care Teach.
