I was thinking of renting a cabin there for a small get away vacation. Anyone know much about the fishing there?

I have never fished it but do hear some good reports. Pretty good bass fishing and once in a while a good pike...h2l

Stayed there a couple decades ago in their cabins. It was always an interesting and quiet place to vacation. Seemed like there was always something willing to bite and a good spot to keep the younguns entertained. I understand since then a trout and walleye stocking program has been instituted. Cabins were plain and of vintage age but of course that could all be changed now. look for recent reviews. I do know some people who still continue to visit there annually, they must like it.  Have fun - let us know how it works out.
Check first, I think they have a boat length minimum as well as horse power max unless you rent one from them.
