I heard that people are still fishing down there. The crappie and walleye bite still has been good. I was told to just go down river a little farther. I hate the fact that water is rising. I was also told to just fish with 1/8 oz. colored green, orange, yellow, chartreuse, etc. and a twistertail tipped with a worm or leech, OR just fish with minnows, OR use 3/8 oz. jigs with white or green fake shad. 4 inches. I tried it at the river in Norwalk, and all i caught was a crappie, but norwalk's river stinks... Hoping to try salorville soon. Hope this info helps for new fisherman.
