The wind was stiff enough Saturday early to make you cold!!  I ended up fishing a spot where the lake was sheltered for a while.  It warmed up nicely.  Sunday was pretty calm and comfortable in spite of some early showers.   Wind sucks!  especially when you're alone and you're trying to set gear, fight fish, net fish and steer all at the same time!  Steering always seems to be the bad part!  I need an autopilot!!

Nice post, thanks for the pics.  ;D

I fished up there a few years ago on a swap deal, caught a lot of togue, no salmon, but didn't enjoy their old fashion method of the Dave Davies & spoons. Just like hauling in an old pair of boots. ;D ;D

Strange you should mention the auto pilot. I've always wanted to try one of those rigs I've seen the tow trucks use, when I was working at accident scenes. They propped that thing behind the wheel and against the seat the keep the wheel straight. ;D

I think I stayed at that motel once. Seriously! When you sat on the throne, did you have to put one foot in the shower? Lol! Nice pics and a great trip.
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

That's got to be the same place! It was so crowded in there, I saw a mouse that was "hunchback". ;D

I don't want to post any motel names but  a "Four Star" it wasn't!!!  They had a no pet policy!  Good thing, I'd never allow my dog to stay in a dump like that!! I'm still itching from the imagined creeping crud and bedbugs!!   The only good thing was the Thai restaurant next door had some awesome appetizers !!  ;D
