I always considered Mayfield to be the South end. Had our best luck along the "H" buoys but wouldn't rule out the "G"s either.

Kim, as I have said before, down your way would be another "lifetime" of fishing for me. There are so many good looking spots and I am sure many would be "great" jig fishing. Remember "all fish like structure but not all structure hold fish". (Buck Perry) Yes that is the "river" bed. Back in the day, we would put 2 markers out about 200 yards apart, then "backtroll" back and forth, picking it apart. Found stumps, rock ledges, stone walls, old roadbeds, etc. Some became "hot" spots, some still produce fish today. I do KNOW there are a lot of "slip" sinkers down there. With the electronics today be thankful that the lake doesn't get the fishing pressure it use too.....h2l

Thanks for the concern 62 and yes that's a walleye or 2 in the livewell.. pic was taken when we started crappie fishing this spring which was literally months ago. I catch 1000 eyes a year so I definitely understand the book, believe me.. I haven't been on here in a bit so I figured I'd put some catches up. We got out on the big pond yesterday, same results.. 😉

It’s about 30 minutes of steady rowing (I have a raddison also) if you don’t stop to fish.  Lot of pickerel in the river and a huge weed bed at the mouth of the lake.

Hopefully it comes up soon. I struggled to get the boat off and back on the hoist today.

Anyone seeing any Hendrickson yet? Saw a few but not many fish rising to them yet. These cold nights and up and down temps. sure doesn't help!

When you are referring to the south end I'm thinking Mayfield, Broad-Albin area?? Plus, I checked the Navionics map you posted of Sacandaga. Is the wide winding line the original Sacandaga River?? If so, then it would make sense why the boats that troll down at my end have this crazy winding trip movement.
