Best Map Chip For WY
« on: Aug 08, 2018, 04:36 PM »
Hey All,

Im new to WY and found out my old map chip no longer works in WY. What map chip do you all recommend for a Hummingbird? I plan on fishing Pathfinder, Gray Reef, Alcova, Boysen, Glendo and anywhere else walleyes roam on soft or hard water.

Thanks!

I run an older Navionics chip but it's so-so. I've been using C-map Genesis uploading date mostly for Keyhole and it's very good. Most of the lakes you asked about have some data uploaded. I think we had a discussion about this not very long ago (the last year). We have found out that Wyoming lakes were not going to scanned for better maps because it's not profitable.

Navionics Boating USA most lakes in the USA all states like $10 a year and if you own a sonar that hooks to the net you can map lakes and update maps and make them more accurate each time you are out!
