-
wow...thats crazy.
-
Wow those are huge. Nice job man! :thumbup_smilie:
-
Very cool.. Are they good to eat?? I have snagged a salmon before and I couldn't imagine snagging one of those and trying to land it....
-
OMG LOL 8)
-
Congrats on the nice Paddles, those are Cockers !! What is the flavor like, do you fillet them or steak them like a Swordfish ??
-
WOW those are awsome fish, way to go fish to live. :o 8)
I have always wanted to try for those guys ever since I saw different people fishing for them on the tv shows.
ww
-
ya their good to eat and they can fight hard, i clean them like swords not bad for a Montana fish
-
Those fish are insane! How do you get them in the boat without tipping?
-
Its not to hard, we use a tail-er and try to use two guys on the big ones.
-
Some things are not meant to be eaten. Walleyes are for eating - paddlefish are for cathing.
Bet they all went to landfill !
-
those are some BIG and UGLY fish! I've never seen a paddlefish before, bet that was a funfight though! congrats on some BIG fish :o
-
You should do your research first, before posting a moronic comment. Paddlefish are a prized fish for their caviar and great eating. I love the taste of paddlefish. They are awesome to eat. Don't knock it until you try it. Fried up, they'd compete against a walleye for its taste. Grilled up, any tuna steak lover would drool over a paddlefish steak. You really are missing out if you have never had spoonbill before.
YA no kidding, WE make caviar with ours and boil the meat, ;D eats better then lobster ::) ::) ::)

LOL! That's awesome. Man, I might have to make a trip out there and go for some of those hogs. My PB has only been 60lbs so far for a Paddle.
we were on th mighty missouri, upstream from fort peck dam-fort benton.. to be more precise just down from slipp ann campground. only keep 500 and closes within 24 hours..hook size is two 8/0 and smaller hooks. two guys out of the bunch caught pink lip tagged fish the biologist said they were tagged 9 years ago!! come tangle with a MT river monster theyre a blast!!! ('eye think the MT record is 142.7#)
-
opens on upper missouri on may 1-june 15. closes when they predict 500 will be caught.. you can still snag but have to have a valid tag(white) and can not gaf or lift out of water!
