I put out Juicy Fruit gum to get rid of chipmunks. Seems to get rid of them fast.
I would rather wast a .177 on them, than juicy fruit....

Now that's too funny. Kind of like giving my beagle a spoon of peanut butter.

I pulled an old tin shower out of a near 100 year old cottage on the bluffs of Lake Michigan. Stuck between the shower wall and the bathroom wall was a mummified flying squirrel all spread out. It was to bad that the bugs had gotten to the fur as other wise it was perfect. The crawl space under the cottage was full of porcupine droppings as they had lived under there for years

Finally got the hang of the trail cam. Caught the bandit red hooved.
Still can’t figure out how to set the time date stamp.

They’re all fat around here.travel from feeder to feeder this time of year.
It’s ok.they’ve never done any damage to the feeders. They’re welcome to what’s on the ground.

They pass through our yards most every night. Sometimes they bed down on the hill behind us. There’s a couple big pines they seem to like. I put the Halloween pumpkins out on the compost pile. They’ll get around to eating them eventually.

My son sent me this. They strip the feeder every night. He only has the one so I suppose he can bring in in at night.

Or raise it up maybe? Got some pics of two last night but the cam frosted up so they weren’t too clear. The two were bedded down about 50 yards out my back door at 4 am when I looked out.

A steward of the forest. You’re a good man.

I have a few in my yard every night. One year I had about 20 every night they knocked the feeder post down so I never put it back up.
