Not really Dom. Just an old wood shop guy playing. Nothing I like better than seeing a kid want to play with the tops or toys at the market. Even better when Mom or Dad buys one to help support my past time. Makes it worthwhile for me.

Can’t wait for next Tuesday to see how the trains and tractors go over.

Not going today. Too damned ugly hot out there.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

The small wheels have a short axle. The larger wheels have a through axle. I buy my parts from Casey’s wood Products in Maine. Made in USA👍

Ran out of wheels and axles. That’s almost 200 of each in the past month.Guess  I’ve been on a roll :rotflol:

Got home early from the course. Tournament day so we didn’t want to do too much mowing. Came home, made some breakfast for my Bride and I, took a little nap and headed into the “little wood shop”. I’m trying to get a few hours a day in the shop making toys for the fall/ Christmas season.

Anyway, made 6 more cars today.

Decided to make the wheels as an experiment. Worked out pretty well. I’m going to test the toys I’ve made at the market this coming week. People there are mostly pretty frugal. If it sells there, it’ll sell anywhere.

Have to make a ring for a customer tomorrow. A lady ordered a size 12.5 x 10mm for her husband in Zebrawood. Must be a big guy. I wear a 11.5 and xxl gloves.

There’s been a lot of interest in the rings, but not so many orders. Made one for a lady who never picked it up.

I’m really enjoying making these toys. The thought of little goobers crawling around the living room carpet making vroom vroom sounds pushing one of my cars, trains or tractors makes me smile.

No boats? Some old paddle wheel boats would be cool.

Depends on which cars you’re looking at. All under $15….so far.

Been a busy toy maker in the “Little Wood Shop”.

Thought I’d better lay things out and get pricing on stuff. Went and bought another 6’ table. I needed it!

Market day today. Hope it doesn’t rain.

Nice Bob. Hope the rain holds out for you.   Do you have a pop up canopy?
