Mud sharks
« on: Aug 24, 2023, 07:07 AM »
They were hungry. Non stop on the jig yesterday from the first drop at 7am until 1pm when I had enough.  Several boats trolled past me, some were too close but who cares I was smashing them.

Love vert jigging for lakers.  Will be doing it soon on Winni, hopefully this weekend.

Gotcha!  Thanks

There aren't any where I live/fish, so I wasn't certain what they were.

You should consider doing a boat rental trip on Quabbin someday if you'd like to try for a lake trout.  Not terribly difficult to catch in the spring.

Things are super gross.  Used split ring pliers so the point killed it.

Round 2 tomorrow.  May get blown off or seasick we will see.  Gotta leave at 2am to get there for sunrise.
