the weekends of 10/11 & 17/18 is the 49th annual shad derby. free to enter and grand prize should be around a $1000.00. don't even have to pre register. just catch a fish and go weigh it in. weigh in is at the Holyoke waterpower right by the Holyoke dam. they usually give out pins and t-shirts. kids have a good time and the fish lift is a must see. hope ta see ya there !!! good fishin >)))))))*>
