Beautiful bows!

How were the stream levels?  Was it roaring?

Thanks Jim!  The main stem was extremely high.  The west branch was fishable but much higher than it was last week when I went there.  The east and west branches will be back to normal in a couple of days as they don't have as many tribs to keep them high.  For a worm fisherman I'd think you would like higher flows due to the run off naturally bringing worms into the equation.  I caught one of my best browns on a worm in the west branch.

Looking good Pat.  I fished last night, not a sniff.   Previous night 1 bow.  High water has slowed me down.

I tried briefly last night as well.  Same story.

I should have over-weighted and fished longer tippet but just wanted to get out.  Sulphurs and iso's starting to pop near the end of the tma.

Thanks guys.  I've been getting out just been extremely busy with the little guy so I haven't been online.

Bart that's one of the larger browns I've landed on the fly.  Jig streamer.  Great fight.

Dusting the cobwebs off and back into the night trout game.  Night creatures galore last night on the housy.  Missed a decent brown before it got dark.  Then nothing but night creature noises to keep me on my toes.  1200 cfs...really would be ideal at 900 especially wading at night.  Bwo's dominated the dusk hatch but dont fish dries.

Looking forward to getting after some streamer browns in the coming weeks.

Love this, Jon.  Not a lot of people are willing to put in the work after dark.  Cool that you're giving it a solid effort.  Good luck and hope you stick a pig.

I have spent the last week out in CO for my son's "None-Covid" wedding. I did not get all that much fishing in but still had a great time and some of the spots were breathtaking...
