PERCH DERBY
Attention Perch Jerkers the perch are biting. It's the 10th annual Perch Derby
8/17/19 with 8/18/19 being a blow day. We'll launch at the New Buffalo Mi. Boat launch.
Sign up in the parking lot at 7:00 am Eastern and fish from 8am to 2pm $10.00 per boat
for Big fish you may fish as many from your boat as law allows. There will also be a side
pot of $5.00 per person for the " Best 3 ". You do not have to be a member to fish.
Measuring will be at the New Buffalo High School @ 1112 E. Clay St. Just a reminder the
limit for perch is now 25 per person.
Hope to see you there,if any questions call Rick @ 574-993-1913

PERCH DERBY
Due to a conflict in event scheduling the Perch Derby date has been changed to 8/24/19
with 8/25/19 as the blow day, every else remains the same.
Thanks

Yes the Perch Derby is looking great for this sat.
Come on out and join in.
$10 for a 1 day license and $12 for the launch.
Its is eastern time, great time and its just about learning the area and enjoying the
perching.
Any questions give Rick a call.

East wind is great for New Buffalo .
Just keep an eye on the winds the next few days, its the dreaded north winds
we don't like.
Hope we still have it and it calms down

Waiting for the Official posting of all names but there were 15 boats that attended.
Biggest fish was 13 7/8 I believe , 2 - 2nd place winners with 13 3/4 the official posting with names will be out soon.
It was a good turnout. Big swells but fishable. Great time had by all. Fish were scattered most of the day. Water has really cooled off.

I want to thank everyone that came and fished the 10th annual Michiana Walleye Perch Derby. Congrats to Mark, Bill and Randy for catching the biggest perch @ 13-7/8 and 2nd place to teams of Mike & Jim and Tom and Joe both with a 13-3/4. Congrats also to Mark, Bill and Randy for the winning "BEST 3" total inches of 40-3/8. Great turn out of 15 boats and 37 fishermen and 1 fisherwoman. Weather wasn't the best but fish were caught.Hope to see everyone next year.
