Been tying up some clouser minnows for the fall smallies and lake trout.

And still playing with the lead eye muddler. It's getting there.

Just for you Trapper ;D

Have you tried the Loon UV coatings yet? The stuff is so much easier than screwing around with epoxy. The only thing I've found is that the battery powered UV lights don't give a solid cure on thicker coatings. I put them on the windowsill in the sun for a little bit to really harden them up.

I'm getting a very tiny bit better at spinning deer hair. Still have a long way to go. But, stupid bass don't care about perfection. They'll eat anything that doesn't bite back and some things that do.

Anyway, I'll keep experimenting. That's what tying is all about.

RG google windshield chip repair tools.  The resins used are uv compounds similar to the uv adhesives used in dental repair.  In fact the drill bits used for winshield repair are diamond dental bits too, I used to get mine from a medical supply house.  Anyway 110v uv light bars about 2' long fairly reasonable, I have one that will seemingly give you a tan.
I was berated for fishing & asked recently by a PETA type.  You don't keep fish do you?  I responded "No I don't like aquariums. I just treat them like a quick haircut, & take a little of the sides"

I owned a windshield repair biz for a few yrs.  Delta makes one 115v 15 or 20watt uv lamp thats decent for under 100 bucks.  You can go bigger but they get pricey.  With size mentioned only takes bout 20 mins maybe 30 for decent cure. Others make better quality, but much more cash.  Delta os decent for the price.
Oh yeah the "cure" with uv resins isn't finite you can partialy cure under light then continue latter with the real thing.  Most anyway.
