Cooked a pot roast in my cast iron dutch oven for the wife and I and Out of no where our older son surprised us and came home 2 days early. His younger brother picked him up from the airport. So we ordered pizza . The roast was small, we'll eat it tomorrow . Awesome early christmas present. He's home for a couple weeks and back to Colorado and off on deployment end of January to Kawaijt

 Chicken soup working on the stove. Dom got me thing about Italian Wedding Soup. My Bride loves that soup.

What do you all have planned for Christmas Eve eats?

We’re having clams casino, wings, nachos with dips and some spicy meatballs. Just my Bride, my Son and our neighbor.....and his parrot. Jojo the parrot will get walnuts, sunflower seeds, some meatball and chicken wing bones. He loves demolishing chicken wing bones. Never thought parrots were meat eaters, but the Caique is.

Homemade sauce annual tradition Christmas Eve for the Christmas Day lasagna. Rest of the sauce is sealed and frozen

Italian wedding soup. Made stock starting at 6 am this morning.

Cant have great soup without croutons. Made from my home made bread.

Topped with fresh Parmesan
