I think they may have gotten lost somewhere Seriously, I'm guessing that if we don't get some serious rain real soon, a lot of flowing waters won't get stocked for the 2nd Fall in a row
I actually saw a stocking truck not far from where I live (driving, not parked) on October 11th, I checked the stocking reports the next several days after and nothing! My guess is they could've just been checking water temperatures/flows. Looks like the last week of october we could get some precipitation. Fingers crossed.
Your area gets a lot more attention. The number of fish planted in the Aquarium is ridiculous....borderline wasteful. Comes down to politics I bet....more people and more votes in Southern Maine.
they only put just over 7,000 trout and salmon in there last year, is that a lot ? Browns are the only fish that holdover in there, and maybe only 10% of them, just a guess. I had to laugh when they put over 100 salmon in there at the end of June last year, in water approaching, if not, 70*F. Solid Investment!
