Sunday we fished out of St Joe, still a long ride in a boat to where we found them.
Monday afternoon we fished New Buffalo and only found 1 but were exploring, we marked alot.
Mich City area has been doing good also, every day is different for them perch but with a south wind its a great time regard less.
Had friends that got 20 out of Mich City area yesterday, but have friends out of St Joe and Mich City this morning and everything is slow so far today.
Good luck , watch the wind and the weather and you'll have a great time.

Never been before but have a bigger boat now so was thinking about trying.  A little over 2.5hrs to Michigan City from home.  I have a buddy fishing there this morning but it was slow when I talked to him also.

Fish are alot shallower than ppl are thinking, especially at the start of the day
its more than catching food, its also catching a piece of mind and integrity within
