I do in the spring, when the fish are in shallow....Road Runners and Beetle Spins are the hot lures.  But when they're suspended, it's all plastics and minnows.

Great fish, good eating. You do alot of vertical jigging for them? This is gonna be my first open water season with the vexilar and wonder how usefull it would be. i don't do very much jiggin in the summer.

Nice bunch of fish CrappieSlayer......   What transducer were you using with your flasher?    Been thinking about using mine, but was wondering if the standard transducer I use ice fishing works ok or if I need something else......
