A gem....

The state did some of their population sampling on some of the Fingerlakes tributaries this past week.  Saw some gorgeous 'bows come out of the stream, some over 10 lbs.  This one was a bit over 5.

Their are some big trout in the F-lakes.  I saw a pic of a 25 lbs brown that came out of Owasco about 8 years ago.  I guess trout in numbers have been on the decline in Owasco...due to the increase of walleye.
