With big fish on the mind they slabs didn't hold back. In the morning I don't think the crappie could see my jig do to fog. Or maybe the dirty water. After a quick move the BnMs were bent in half with slobs on the end. We were very slowing pushing jigs along. Sure was fun hooking use on them right under the surface they exploding on top. Thanks tothe guys Mlike and I fish with in the indianaslabmasters. Couldn't be doing this with out going out there every weekend learning crappie behaviour.

It was entertaining watching you and your buddies haul them pigs in Saturday evening. Love the excitement you express when trying to net a hog with only a couple feet of line out with a 12 or 14 ft pole. How big was that one monster you about pee'd yourself on? It was a fun bite both Saturday and Sunday morning at the Missinnawa. Took a second pole and fished bee moth on ice jig and came home with some real nice Gil's. Can't beat 12-13 in crappie and 8-9 inch Gil's. next time I might take some cranks for the walleyes.

Since the ducks are late this year, I'm gonna have to get out the
ol' spinning pole and visit Missy & Sally. Can anyone give me
a lead on where to get crappie minnows this time of year. I live
in NE Indy area - probably drive up 13 through elwood....

Theres a few bait stores right by both missy and salamonie. I don't remember their names but they both had minnows when I was last up there

We definitely had a good time.

I think theres a little place in Sommerset on 13 that sells live bait. Left side of hwy just before bridge.

When we were there I only saw one ramp open. I am sure there are others on here that can tell you more.

Only ramp on Miss is red bridge. I don't think there are any on sally that is usable, dora would be the only one if any. Be careful running open, lots of shallow areas on both resi's.

Yep, just got home with another pill of pigs.Am going to clean these up as my pattern has to go to work. Left them biting. Then I'll try pics again. Many nice ones today.

A buddy and I are taking off work Tuesday to go somewhere. Neither of us has fished missy before except through the ice. We normally fish Giest. We may have to try missy on Tuesday and see if we can locate some. Thanks for your reports.

Lots of fishermen fish listin creek. There's always some fish in there popular spot that's for sure.

Well scratch my trip tomorrow. His boy busted open his head and had to get staples may try again Christmas Eve.

Well Mike and I took the crappiecrusher down to the cat. Found skin ice on ramp and other areas in morning. It would not be a factor. A beautiful day on the water. We were spider rigging around six to eight ft down . Fishing points and drop offs in creek. All fish took on southern pro tubes tipped with a crappie bit color wasn't a factor they were biting pretty steady all day. Boat around hundred fish kept 30. Biggest was 1.18 we had two others right at a pound and few just under. Really nice to be back in boat. Don't let the cold weather slow u down the bit has been strong all over the state since fall. I'll be back on hard water next weekend at another reservoir. Water clarity has been great the place we have been. Good luck everyone hope this helps
