Nothing wrong with grinding it out , as of now I'm looking forward to shore fishing and the ice , as of now the ice fishing looks promising as compared to last winter

Got out Friday AM early, nada for first 3 hours then hot from 9:00-10:30 in 12-14 FOW, agree it's shallow for August.  Had to run back to camp and get a kid so we could keep more eyes.  6 eyes, 5 jumbo perch, sunnies and slime darts went back in.  Water pretty clear on west end.

Got out with the guys yesterday afternoon, after a 2 week layoff , it was pretty lumpy , the water was much cleaner and
The jig bite was pretty good and we managed to boat our limit with some toss backs  , the bucktails still seems to be working for us , when the moon came it was the brightest shade of red but the phone couldn't capture it , it was fun as usual
sylvan beach has been reopened in several some don't know
