I guess I can't be sure they were anything.
If you're asking if I'm sure they were tiger musky vs normal musky, then yes I know tigers are the only Esox fish in the lake.
If you're suggesting they could be something else entirely, then I certainly can't rule that out.
I know for sure they were whales, and that they were hitting the top water very viciously.
I got a good look at one that came out of the water partially, and it was a long dark fish. It could have been a walleye, theoretically, but if it was a walleye I would be even happier to catch it as that fish would be close to some kind of world record. If these blowups were caused by bass, then again they would be fish of a lifetime size for sure.
Certainly not carp, I know they like to jump, but the fish I saw looked nothing like a common carp.
