First crack at it...
« on: May 04, 2007, 11:10 AM »
Here are a few pics of my first tie in at least 10 years.  Broke out all the old gear and had to re-learn some of the terms to find the proper materials.

First Try -

Compared to the one I am trying to copy -

Still lots of practice required - I've tied up 8 more since this one, each getting a little bit better...

Nice job so far. In the last ten years a lot of synthetics have been developed. Lots of new materials to get use to as well as terms. You picked up where you left off, just like riding a bicycle.
Look...Is it a plane? train? a speeding bullet? ...No...it's a Rock Bass!http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u61/RLWagner/th_5d7a43d1.jpg[/img]
