how many of you guys use braided?

I use Fireline(similar to braided) I've used the same line of for 3 yrs. Doesn't fray like braided, only broke maybe 3-5 five times. I use it for everything, pike, bass, spinnerbait, crankbait, soft plastics. Definately worth a try.

Trolling; yes otherwise throw it away

i horsed a 30lb flat head on 10lb

Get the new fireline tracer braid. strong, very abrasive resistant (even against pike teeth) and cuts wonderfully through weeds. also great for shorefishing, easy to see against waves and wind

I really like that stuff for trolling. You can count the bright sections and know how much line you have out.

Make sure you always tie the lure on the non-bright section.

I use power pro when I am fishing in the weeds to rip the bass out if I get one.  Really like it and it seems to hold up very well.

   I've been using Fireline, since it came out; I personnally think that it's the cats MEOW for jigging & Drop shotting!!!......use a small barrel swivel & about 24in. florocarbon shock leader.......Lou

i use power pro on my senko, jig, and scum frog rods

i use braid on everything you can feel the bite better no stretch and its great to watch your line twitch on top of the water

I use braided line on all of my spinning reels. I dont have good luck with it on my bait casters for some reason. Too many rats nests. I really do like it on my senko rods the most. As you can see the very light bites.

you will have to pry the braid (powerpro) from my rods, nothing gives me better feel then braid. sometimes guys get crazy and load up rods with 50+lb but, and sure that has it's place, but 10lb braid throwing senko's is amazing
