Early spring tip.
« on: Mar 14, 2010, 11:08 PM »
Just a tip, today the lake I was fishing was still half covered in ice and the bass were hammering red craw lipless cranks. Who says you have to fish slow when its cold?

I fished a spot on the river last year and ice was still on the shore line.  Catching a smallmouth and trying to bring it up above the ice, hopefully not hanging on the ice edge.  Good ol rooster tails.
Slip bobber fishing and ice lounger.

lipless is a great early season lure.......certainly part of my game plan each time out......great way to cover water and trigger bites.....you can really put some fish in the boat and fast with a lipless crankbait.....just make sure you have a good set of mustad triple grips......very easy to shake that hook
Chuck Norris sorts his clothes in three loads.....whites, colors, and blood stains
