Shrimp for me, scallops for my Bride, rice, fresh broccoli, and a Bechamel with garden fresh lemon basil flowers, curly parsley, our fresh garlic and white wine.

I saved half for my lunch tomorrow. My Bride’s disappeared.

Another few days of tent camping. I didn’t need the tripod grill this time, the campground grill was more than sufficient.

Had a few of the princess’s friends with us so we played it safe

Day one: burgers and dogs

Day two: pizza

Day three: chicken

My only regret was I didn’t have good seasoned hardwood. But there weren’t any complaints with any of the meals.

Time to start plotting the next trip, although the only dates I have booked currently are Labor Day Weekend

Tonight was grilled shrimp with Zucchini and onions , Zucchini came from my neighbors, and they got a nice large tomato

I sautéed up some walleye cheeks in bacon drippings along with some fresh garlic. Then tossed them in a nice cabbage salad.

Now some garbage popcorn and some high end Anejo tequila.

Yeah...its ugly.
I hit 3 of the local Farm markets (mom and pop’s) looking for tomatoes. None to be had as yet. I don’t feel so bad about mine being a bit late. Got lots coming, just seems slow this year.
