getting one sometime next week. anyone use one and what brand do you have
 
im partial to st croix, and thats what im looking at...a 14 foot 9/10 wt

Billy,

I have a cabelas 14' 9/10 weight and love it.  It is great for Kings and steelhead.  You can cast a mile with it.  It was a lot cheaper than other brands.  Cabelas is really good about replacing their rods if they break also.  My buddy has a reddington spey rod in the same length and weight and loves his also.  His was about $100 more than mine.

i own a st.croix..the 9/10 14 foot...love it when i get a chance to use it.
