I have always thought the same thing. Once you get past Old Town, you are out of luck. With all the lakes in that area, I can't believe there is no place to buy 'Maine' tackle.

I'm glad someone is willing to take the risk...  We need someone to have the knowlege on real fishing supplies!! Not just Bass rigs.... I dont think a guy would need a big set up at first...    :)

My sister and brother-in-law just opened a bait shop here in town.  Today is their first day of business.

Why that's great that the topsham area Finlay has a legitimate bait and tackle shop. No more going to johnsons or dicks for me. Can't wait to check this place out.
