Sebago salmon- where are they
« on: Apr 27, 2015, 02:18 AM »
Pictures of those beauties? Another fellow and I hammered away at 8 cord of firewood this weekend. Got it all sawed up and half split so didn't make it fishing. Thought I'd get up this morning and see all kinds of fish from the big pond posted on here.

I have to come coco. Had an embarrassing moment on Sebago Saturday. Let me premise this by saying I did catch a very nice togue 7 + on the fly rod...Boats were hooking up all around us all morning, great action. A very cute biologist was boating around checkin catches all morning, people waving their salmon at her left and right all happy. Finally she pulls up to us. What did you catch she asks...No salmon caught here missy! She then proceeds to advise us that we were one of only 2 boats with no salmon...I said gee thanks, she laughed and zipped off. There were at least 30 boats plus out there...not good for the mojo. I need to start lying more effectively she disarmed me with her good looks.

Don't take it personal Gary, she is a good friend of mine and has an incredible sense of humor,  ;) ;) She will be out there all year, I'm sure you will get to see her again.

I haven't been posting much on here anymore, but here's a couple pics of this year's Sebago salmon. We had a nice morning with 13 salmon caught and released and 7 more that came off after the initial strike.
Hope you like them:
