Lower if I can get it there
So it takes way longer
Anyway, best I can tell you is smoke taters till they are done.
That’s why I chop them up
Try a pc here and there.
But down at 200 it will take a long time.

Anyway, just cut up and rubbed 2 racks of ribs.  They will sit till half time then go on the grill for braising.  Then I’ll wrap em and finish in the oven inside during the second half.

I like my larger Pit Boss out at the lake so much I have decided to get this for home.
I have a line on a new one for under $200 and it comes with a 20# bag of pellets that is worth $10-15.

120VAC, 5 amps for lighting ignitor for the first 5 minutes then it drops way down.
Same power that handles the pellet feed screw and the tiny combustion air blower.


Soooo, obviously you would need a small generator if you were to actually "tailgate" with it.

Burning in my new “home” pellet smoker.  A Pit Boss Tailgater.  Easy assembly and it works pretty much the same as my large Pit Boss out at the lake.  Got a sweet deal on it for only $190 brand new.  This unit typically sells in the $295-329 range.  Guy even tossed in a $15 bag of pellets for only $5.  Going to smoke some wings for 2 of my sisters and their better halves on Saturday.  Can’t wait!
Then next week’s turkey gets smoked for Thanksgiving.
