I did take a nice walk in the woods this morning to collect some turning materials. Found some cherry, ash and maple and a couple of pieces of who knows what. All downed limbs and trees....and free.

70 is nice (like outside last week) - 44 here, just got done with some lawn and boat winterizing work.

I was on Long Island Sound yesterday with my son for the last striper trip of the season. Cold, wind and stinging rain and about 11am all I could think about was taking a hot shower.  Time to put the boat away, it's going in the barn tomorrow.

We had a quick freezing rain go through at 7:30 froze everything.  Even the sanders were out..

It's 4:30 @53º and the big front is just across the hill.  Been blowing all day 40+ and it appears it's about to ramp up........
