How long will refrigerated fish keep

I had a fish ready for the grill and got called into work. I caught it on Saturday. Does anyone know if it will keep for 48 hr in the fridge? It was kept on ice since it was caught and cleaned that afternoon.

Sure it will.  I keep mine in a bowl with some cellophane on top.  Just wash the fillets off, then dry them every day, and it will last you at least 4 days, up to 6+ days.

Three days is my limit, even though fresh is best.
If it was cleaned and cold you have nothing to worry about.

Depends on your taste buds .  Also on the temp of your fridge. I have kept mine gutted whole and ate after  5 days but I keep my fridge real cool. Have to be careful or the mayonaise will freeze.
