First time out with the Wife to be

You should feel lucky you have ice to fish on...we havent had any ice that stays around longer that a week...

By Mn. standards we had awful ice this winter, I only drove my truck out a few times in February. I guess I cant complain though, I fished from December first to April first with safe ice for walking or ATVs.

Great pictures H&C. My girlfriend loves to fish and I just taught her how to ice fish this past winter.

Mine wont ice fish yet...still thinks it too scary...ill have to prove it to her when I real in a monster pike

My wife has expressed an interest in getting out on the ice, but she has been working on her masters....so when she was working, I went fishing.  Maybe next year will be two firsts...the wife's first time on the ice, as well as the baby's first time(due in August).  I can't wait!!!

Here are just a few pictures of the first time out this year. My Fiance was bored so i bought her a license and took her along.
After her first fish on the ultra-light pole she cant wait to go out on monday again.


Her first fish ends up being a master angler bluegill


Shes not too big a fan of moss, but I didnt care as long as she comes along
