I hear that. Look forward to this time of year myself. I gave up bow hunting to fish in the fall. Found out that I like to fish more than hunt. Wish I would have figured that out before getting a new bow. Lol.

You cant beat fall fishing especially the walleye bite.I normally go with a buddie of mine religously everynite as long as the waves arent over my waders. This year im going to be using my boat more than i have in the past but just love to cast from shore.Other than fall fishing i rarely ever do that now that i have a boat.Growing up id stop anywhere and wet a line from shore i havent done that in i cant rmember spoiled now having a BOAT

I am going shore fishing for walleye this evening for the first time. I will be on the east side of the lake with a sw-ssw wind at 8 mph. I can hit 10 to 15 fow. I plan on slip bobber with a sucker. am I in the right direction?

My best success is with a 4" doubletail on a 1/4oz jig, both in chartreuse. Cheap and effective.
