Jointed Shad Rap
« on: May 02, 2005, 12:37 PM »
Anybody have luck with these trolling for eye's? We kill them on regular Shad Rap's around here, and I've always had better luck with a jointed original floater than the non-jointed models, so I thought maybe jointed SR's would be the cats meow. Any thoughts??

I've used the jointed shad raps casting for walleyes and bass. They have good action and they suspend. They are really good lures, though I haven't used them all that much. I would definately recommend buying a few.

I cast with them but I wouldn't troll with them unless you're running slow.
The joint in the middle has gotten kinked on me more than once.
They will twist your line so fast you have to cut it off.
