Buddy and I had the day off and made quick plans to take advantage. Fished 7-5 ish. Started with thick fog for first 2 or 3 hours then the sun made an appearance until pop up showers bounced around the reservoir mid day.
We were using old electronics and navionics just to see depths to pick our spots. We picked away at fish all day. Lakers seemed easy to come by. I got one in 50' and one in maybe 10' . But most between 30-40'. The biggest went 27"
We got a few Smallies early but once sun came out they were very shy. Already seeing fish cruising beds..not many but a few early beds for sure. Can't wait to get back!
