dumbba and I made a quick trip to the Q last night to see what the high water had done. A bright moon kept popping in and out of the clouds stopping the bite whenever it shined, but we still got a few. Nothing to dig the scale out for, but it still felt great to hear that heart racing sound when a bass hits your topwater at night! We have been spoiled with the low water and working the shorelines, but with a little work, there was still room too cast. The bass seemed to want something a little more subtle than the Whopper Plopper I was throwing and when I switched to a good old Jitterbug the action was on;
The ticks and mosquitos were bad but worth the hassle!
