Title: Where to shop?
Post by: yoda on Apr 05, 2005, 07:57 AM
Where are some good places to buy tackle on the Cape?  I see plenty of bait stores that sell tackle but they charge you top dollar for their goods.  Are there any reasonable stores that sell quality goods?

Red Top near the canal is pretty good with good a good selection. You'll pay a little more at any tackle shop no matter what but I like to help out the local guys myself when I can.

Do have more specific direction?  I like the local guys as well, they tend to support you more with info and enjoy the sport as well, but when they double the price of lures and terminal tackle it makes me want to order online ???

Take Exit 2 off 495.....Follow to the right side of the rotary and take a right onto Main St like your going to the railroad bridge........it's on your right hand side less than 1/4 mile.

Yoda,

Canal Bait is on the other side of the canal near the Christmas Tree Shop.
Go down 495 and over the bridge, 3/4 around the rotary and follow 6A, take the second right after the Sagamore bridge. At the stop sign take a left and it's a stone's throw down on your left.
