Title: power drive v-2 ??

I am the worst with mechanicle stuff. I just bought a new Minn kota V-2 54 inch 55lbs to replace my fried one from a few years ago. The old motor had a seperat plug that went into a outlet on the bow of the boat. The new one doesnt all I got is batery wires. is it ok just to drop those wires to the 50 amp breacker and then to the battery. If thes doesnt make sence I am sorry. :-\

you have to find out if it running on a 12volt or 24 volt system or both. if 12v go to curcuit box if 24v buy plug and set up like old trolling motor hope this helps

It wiil be a 12 system just trying to get one more season out of this boat before I fork over to by a nicer bass boat
