I have and they work under certain conditions. Initially I bought it to track how much line is out when I am flatlining so I can get it back to the strike zone. Works great with mono above 6 lbs. The counter does not work well with superbraid lines or in saltwater two broke that way and will not be trying it again.

The Gander Mountain I work at has them so I would think that other Ganders would too.
