You can't find much, the paper companys Great Northern for one own most of it. they will be glad to lease you some though.

between kittery and kennebunk there is no cheap land . that is prime area even in the western sections and anyting on the eastern side is gonna be in the millions for anyting with acreage. people are buying beachfront home you and i only dream of and leveling them and building million dollar mansions in there place.youll need to travel much farther north to even find reasonable never mind cheap. good luck in your quest

you can get land up here for about 10k an acre

20+ years ago we got 68 acres for like 45k- Tax is like 12 dollars a year (no electrivity and only 2-3 acres are trimmed/maintained

Its right off the  route past lincoln (topsfielfd) your folks missed the boat- havent seen anything but lakefront for sale since then- a guy on scragley wants 84k for a 1/2 acre lakefront- i think were grabbing that lol
