Got one on glass
« on: Apr 01, 2024, 04:11 PM »
Hit the upper Hoosac for an hour today and managed to net this nice brown on a pats rubber legs I tied last night. Fishing with a 6wt glass phillipsons rod I restored recently.

Nice looking brown! Must have been a real joy to catch that with an old rod you refurbished and a fly you tied.
It is understood that fishing licenses, gas, bait, etc., all cost money, but try not to let a limit of trout be your only gauge for success. – Ben Nugent, (NH F&G) Regional Fisheries Biologist
