Last Ice

Don't know about the rest of you, but ice conditions around Charlevoix might be the best they've been all year.  Ice is still thick and you can finally move around on it.  Should make for some good last ice fishing over the next couple of weeks.  Its supposed to stay cold during the night all this week.  Don't put that auger away just yet!!

I don't know but around here the ice is pretty shaky looking.I think I'll call it qiuts for this year and get ready for soft water...

As usual - Safety First.  I can't think of a fish worth it.  I'm also getting anxious to do a little long lining........

ice has been gone for 2-3 weeks here already!

Yeah, I think we're about done with the ice. Dach say the word and we'll lock up the ice fishing boards and just concentrate on this one. I will get the impeller replaced on the Merc and should be ready for the river's walleye run. Lawnguy that invitation is still there as well as dach's. I'll let you know as soon as they start.

just west of detroit, westland.  and I'm definatly awaiting the eyes with ya rick!!! I been a twitchin to  do some fishin!   we went downby erie metro park and caught a few small perch, bite was lite as I think we need some warmer temps yet
