There is 1 good thing. That is: after these north winds subside the water should be warmer. We just have to hope that after a couple of days the perch will be in closer and in larger numbers. Picking up my puppy this weekend so, there is going to be lots of one on one time with him. Hope to still be able to get out once a week when the wife is off.

Looking to head out in the next couple of weeks.  Is the launch at Washington Park close to the perch grounds?  My parents keep their sailboat there and I am thinking of coming up for a weekend and staying on the boat and heading out of there to fish.

Found 3 yesterday, fished west of the lighthouse, marked a few small very small pods. 28ft , found a few schools of shad or alwives and that's where we would pickup a perch. Gotta keep that trolling motor moving and hope you get lucky, soon very soon.

Surely they are finding perch today.Just read waves 1 foot or less today and water temp 65.The door is going to close tonight as winds will once again ramp up and shut things down again.I was going to try it but too much partying from night before🤢

Had a friend out this morning and some bigger swells so they came in. No fish.
