seafoam in outboards
« on: Sep 05, 2006, 10:03 AM »
Have any of you used sea foam in your outboards?? I recently picked up a boat from my father in-law that had been sitting for 15 yrs. the 50HP runs pretty good but loads up once in a while. someone told me to try running sea foam in it to clean the carbs a bit. just wondered if any one else has used this product.

thanks
Jess
If it moves and it shouldn't, use ducktape;  If it don't move and it should, use WD40!

Its good stuff. I run it in every tank of gas, in every two stroke motor I own. I run one ounce per gallon to maintain cleanliness. Read the can, it really does what it says. ;)
