I better give up the trout and take up the carp! Good job, Bob.

It certainly was fun Dom.
Any time you feel like testing your equipment and arms Sut, I have a few carp spots.

Saw some monsters on the Knail fishing for bass on fathers day...
Dean had one on for 30 seconds that he accidentally snagged but his crankbait pulled out of it....
Gave his bass rod a good bend.. Good thing his drag was loose or he would have lost a new $7 lure..

The 0X tippet I use is 14.4 lb. Never had another fish that could flat out snap it. Especially with the furled leaders I make. They absorb a lot of shock.

Went 2 for 5 this monring. Broke two off in the sticks and junk on shore and one Knot failed.
Used the good old Lamiglas 9' 9/10 wt with a South Bend 1166. The second one was a real slug. Took me 20 minutes to get it in the net. It was pulling the boat around in circles.
Probably another week possible for this action.

Well done, RG! That sure is a tank in the last picture.

Made up for it this afternoon with a trip to the " backyard stream".
A few nice smallies, Rockies, bluegills.
This clutch of wood ducks was swimming circles around me as I fished.
Don't know where Mama was.
Must have caught 100 fish in 3 hours. Nothing huge, but, who cares. Seriously fun day with the 3 wt.
